FRESHYBOX: WHEN HEALTH, EDUCATION AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE MEET

At FreshyBox, we firmly believe that student health is a key pillar of their academic success. That's why we've designed a food solution that not only appeals to students but also strictly adheres to the legislative frameworks and public health recommendations of Ontario and Canada.

The basis for this requirement is Policy/Program Memorandum No. 150 (PPM 150), an official policy of the Ontario Ministry of Education. This policy governs the sale of food and beverages in Ontario public schools and aims to promote nutritious choices for all students. It stipulates, in particular, that at least 80% of the products offered for sale must be healthy choices rich in essential nutrients and low in fat, sugar, and sodium.

But our commitment doesn't stop there. FreshyBox also adheres to the food safety standards defined by the Health Protection and Promotion Act, which governs food safety throughout Ontario.
